Sweet little Rowan, all tuckered out. Almost 5 months old already.  Because sometimes an afternoon of playing in the backyard is a good enough reason to wear sparkly shoes.
 This is how I found Rowan when I went to get her up the other morning.
Perhaps we should consider getting some bumper pads?  Every morning I go in to get Ashlyn up for the day holding her baby sister, and every morning she smiles with delight and says “Put my baby sister in my bed!” so that she can start her day by snuggling Rowan. Melts my heart every time! . . . → Read More: Wordless Wednesday – “Baby sister in my bed!”  It’s the little things that make me happy sometimes, like seeing all our cute diapers on the clothesline.
There has to be some upside for being crazy enough to use cloth on both girls at the same time, right?  Ashlyn didn’t let a little rain stop her fun during our trip to New Brunswick. Decked out in full rain gear, she went down the slide so many times that she got some pretty impressive static head!
 2.5 months into having a baby sister and Ashlyn is still totally in love with Rowan!  The Tulip Festival is an annual event here in Ottawa, so we took advantage of the fantastic weather on Saturday to spend the morning downtown, including the very popular LEGO Community Garden. |
