Wordless Wednesday – Agriculture Museum

On Sunday we braved the incredible heat and spent the afternoon at the Canada Agriculture Museum with our good friends, Amy of Splendid Events and her husband Michael. Since it was so hot, we practically had the entire farm to ourselves! The girls had a great time showing Amy and Michael around; we have a membership so we’re regulars and they felt so special acting as tour guides. After visiting all of the animals, learning some ‘life lessons’ from Michael such as ‘pretty animals are usually Read more [...]

Wordless Wednesday – Ashlyn’s first haircut

The next day Rowan was playing quietly and when we went to investigate, this Read more [...]

Wordless Wednesday – Easter Bunny Faces

While visiting my mother-in-law this weekend, we went to her church on Saturday for their annual egg hunt and Easter celebration. The girls had so much fun and even had their faces painted which was definitely the highlight of the day!

Not So Wordless Wednesday – How to throw an easy Star Wars birthday party!

I don’t usually do a theme for my daughters’ birthday parties, but Rowan is obsessed with Star Wars and once we decided to make her an R2-D2 cake I couldn’t resist checking out Pinterest (you can find me here) and I just couldn’t resist giving a Star Wars birthday party theme a try. First, the decorations: the birthday banner that I made last year balloons from a local party store (we give each family that comes to the party at least one balloon to take home) and a little Read more [...]
