Sadly, this is all of the Halloween decorating that we’ve done. I go all out for Christmas and usually my husband does for Halloween, but most of our outside decorations haven’t survived two moves (and two provinces) and we just haven’t picked up anything here. I really missed the bright colours of fall when we lived in northern Alberta. Here in Ottawa the trees are turning beautiful, vibrant shades of red and orange, there’s a nip in the air but the sun is still shining. I love being back!
This is Ashlyn’s latest move – when you ask her “where is it?”, she puts her hands on her cheeks and smiles. It cracks me up every time, which is great because she does it a few dozen times a day.
All of a sudden, Ashlyn loves playing with dolls! This was my Cabbage Patch, Jill, from when I was little. I hope she likes her new brother or sister as much as she likes playing with her “baby”.
