Wordless Wednesday – Apple picking

We finally got to Mountain Apple Orchards to pick some apples on the weekend and I'm so glad that we did!  The girls had a blast picking - and eating - apples right from the tree, and we scored some delicious apple cider, apple donuts and a tart cherry and apple jelly that I'm planning to use on a baked brie soon.  Next year we'll be sure to go over the Labour Day weekend to get the honeycrisps!     Read more [...]

Wordless Wednesday – NYC!

We have a mermaid towel from Kidorable that is very popular, but the cut of it makes it more suitable for our 18 month old than our Read more [...]

Just keep swimming – Finding Nemo is in Disney 3D!

It's not often that I get to spend time one-on-one outside of our home with my 3 year old.   Now that she's not napping, and her little sister isn't nursing, it's fun to plan a 'date' and spend some special Mommy/big girl time together.  When I asked A if she'd like to see one of her favourite movies, "Finding Nemo" in Disney 3D at the movie theatre, she jumped at the chance - as long there would be popcorn, of course. Academy Award®-winning film “Finding Nemo” returns to the big screen Read more [...]
