Am I the only crazy person trying to plan out my summer when it's still the middle of winter?

Crafts are a daily occurrence in our house. Now that my girls are getting old enough to complete them with minimal help (or better yet, Ashlyn can help her little sister), I like to keep an eye out for fun kits that offer crafts that they can create and display with pride. With the endless winter that Ottawa has been experiencing, escaping through a movie is our favourite way to spend an afternoon, especially if that movie features a tropical location. Enter Disney's The Jungle Book Diamond Edition, which came out of the vault on February 11!

We've always been regulars at our local branch of the Ottawa Public Library, but now that I'm taking a course specifically about children's books, we're spending even more time than usual reading as a family.
