I'm starting to think that I need a stronger word than "planner" to describe myself. I feel like I'm always worrying thinking about things so far in advance that it actually doesn't make any sense but I can't seem to stop myself. It seems strange that it's only Thursday night and yet it feels like the week is already over! We had a busy Sunday that included dinner with friends and the morning spent at the Carleton University Butterfly Show. This is an annual event and we try to go every year. This year it was just the girls and I and we remembered to bring our own orange slices to try and entice some butterflies to land in our hands. The girls found the experience to be magical!

I originally posted this recipe in September 2012 and I've been making it regularly ever since! To save some time in the morning, I made the dough last night and baked the scones this morning and they were the best I've ever had, so I've updated the recipe to include this step.
