Do you do a lot of travel over the holidays? This is the first year that we're doing all of our holiday travel in a car instead of a van, so it's the first year in a long time that we have actually had to consider the size of the gifts that we are giving to our families! Movies are a great gift to give and receive: they are easy to wrap, provide entertainment, and don't take up much space in your trunk or your house. Yesterday was the big day in Ottawa: three performances of Disney Live! Mickey's Music Festival! We arrived nice and early to the Canadian Tire Centre so we had lots of time to pick up our tickets, grab a little something to eat, and check out the souvenirs. We had told our daughters before we went that they could each pick out one souvenir, with parental approval, and Ashlyn honed in on a Jasmine doll immediately, while Rowan went for a Jessie doll.

Sounds like a great day to plan an outing to see "Junie B. in Jingle Bells, Batman Smells" presented by Centrepointe Theatres in Ottawa. With two shows, at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., there should be a good time for any Junie B. fan to attend!
It’s holiday time and everyone’s favorite first grader Read more [...]
