We don't take our girls to see movies at the theatre very often, but we made an exception for Disney's "Big Hero 6" when it was on the big screen! Now an Academy Award-winning movie (for Best Animated Feature Film), and featuring Best Animated Short Film "Feast", this Blu-rayTM Combo Pack is sure to be a hit in your home too.
I hadn't heard about "Feast" before we saw it for the first time, but there is definitely a reason why it won an Academy Award! Charming, and with no real dialogue, it's Read more [...]
Did you know that this Wednesday, February 25, is Pink Shirt Day? Started in 2008 in Nova Scotia when two high school students organized a day to wear pink in sympathy with a Grade 9 boy who was being bullied for wearing a pink shirt, it has taken off across the country. Finding new, fun ways to keep us all entertained can be tricky, especially for my 3 year old when her big sister is at school and I have my own homework to get done. One fun way to help her stay active is by using our new LeapBand from LeapFrog!
In case you aren't familiar with the LeapBand, it is "the only activity tracker made for kids that Read more [...]
