For the first time, we are living in a house with an unfinished basement. Our goal is to finish it sometime in the next year, but we're having a tough time figuring out what exactly we want to do with it! It was really important to me to make Ashlyn's birthday cake. I love to bake, and I was thinking for months about what to make for her. We were really happy to find a house when we were looking that was move-in ready. The only things we wanted to change was the paint colour in the master bedroom and our daughter's room, and all of the lighting upstairs.
