This summer, we went through 3 different tricycles for Ashlyn, trying to find just the right one. One was given to her as a gift last year and it's STILL too tall for her (even with those pedal extenders that I think are a huge accident waiting to happen), one had a seat that made her slide back too far, and the last one she still can't figure out how to pedal. How I wish I had found Strider The No Pedal PREbike months ago!
When I found out that I would be working with Strider, I had this Read more [...]
Back when we lived in Alberta, it was a tradition every year for my closest girlfriends to get together and do some Christmas baking, and Joleen's butter tarts were always at the top on the list of things to make! Sadly, all but one of us have moved away from that town now (although I'm the farthest away in Ontario) but we'll see each other next month at a scrapbooking/visiting weekend and I can't wait. All pictures taken by the incredibly talented Elizabeth Fulton Photography.

1 can cream of mushroom soup
3/4 can milk
1 can tuna, drained and flaked
1 stalk celery, chopped

Rowan has started solids now and she enjoys food far more than her sister did at this age so I'm doing my best to come up with healthy and tasty recipes for her in the hopes that she will be a less picky eater. I'm at our local Loblaws at least once a week as it is, so I was very interested to learn that there are *free* HUGGIES® Baby and You in-store events happening right now across the country!
Between October 18th and November 2nd, each event will highlight a dish for Mom (Quinoa Pancakes Read more [...]
