Spread some holiday cheer with cards from Minted (giveaway)

I’ve been sending out Christmas cards for years now.  It started with handmade cards for a few family members and friends, but my list has grown over the years and unfortunately I just can’t find the time for crafting these days.  I still want a card that feels personal and that’s why I turn to Minted! This year I chose from the holiday postcard collection.  You can choose to write a small paragraph or two on the back, or include an additional picture.  While I’ve never done an Read more […]

I See Me! (giveaway)

I’m so happy that my girls have inherited the ‘bookworm’ gene from my husband and myself.  It’s fun to see what they gravitate to and what will keep their attention.  I See Me! makes reading even more fun because they create books just for your little one! My girls love anything that has their names on it so I was more than happy to pick a book to review!  I thought that it would be fun to find a Christmas book and when I saw that there was a board book available my decision was made.  Read more […]

Melissa & Doug Terrific Twenty List and Giveaway

There are some brands that I turn to time and again because you know that they make an excellent quality product at a price that makes sense. The Melissa And Doug Terrific Twenty 2012 Holiday Toys list has all sorts of great suggestions Read more […]

Tis the Season for Giving (LEGO DUPLO giveaway)

It’s so easy for kids to get caught up in the ‘getting’ part of the holiday season.  I remember talking with my mommy friends last year after Christmas and we were all lamenting how our 2.5 year olds had suddenly developed the “gimmies” after spending a few weeks celebrating with various family members and friends, and I have a feeling that this year is going to be even worse since I’ve been hearing “I want that for Christmas” about every toy we see in a store/flyer/commercial for weeks now Read more […]

Red Envelope

True confession: I avoid shopping at malls with my girls whenever possible.  Groceries?  Bring it on.  Big box store?  No fear.  But a mall full of people and distractions and a hundred reasons for a toddler and/or preschooler to throw a raging tantrum, no thank you.  Besides, Ashlyn is old enough now that I can’t buy her presents in front of her anyways because she remembers everything, so I’ll be doing a lot of online shopping this year.  Enter Red Envelope!
