Did you know that this Wednesday, February 25, is Pink Shirt Day? Started in 2008 in Nova Scotia when two high school students organized a day to wear pink in sympathy with a Grade 9 boy who was being bullied for wearing a pink shirt, it has taken off across the country. Toys “R” Us had a special event this past Saturday where they gave out 100 of their “Be a Buddy, Not a Bully” shits at each of their locations.
