He decided against the chocolate ganache as a topping and instead used some whipped cream and chocolate shavings…let’s just say the leftovers didn’t last . . . → Read More: What’s for dessert – Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheesecake

My husband has had a subscription to GQ for years and we get the best recipes from it! He tried out the blistered corn the other day and I’m not sure we’ll ever cook corn any other way again. So tasty and super easy, especially if you already have the grill on!

I love Allrecipes. It doesn’t matter what you’re looking for, they probably have a recipe (or 20) for it. I have a good banana muffin recipe but I was looking for something a little different and gave these Banana Crumb Muffins a whirl. I don’t think my husband will let me make the old . . . → Read More: What’s for Breakfast ~ Banana Crumb Muffins

As a little update to my What’s for (Easter) dinner ~ Sweet Potato Casserole, here’s what the sweet potato casserole looks like with the struesel topping. Seriously, whoever came up with a side dish that involves mini-mashmellows is my new favourite person.

Like many of you, I’m planning our Easter dinner menu. It’s just going to be the three of us, so it’s nothing fancy, but it’s nice to have an excuse to make something a little different from our normal meals. So far, I know we’re having ham steaks, salad, and this incredibly yummysweet . . . → Read More: What’s for (Easter) Dinner ~ Sweet Potato Casserole

I have, love, and use constantly the cookbook “Eat, Shrink & Be Merry” by Janet and Great Podleski. I’ve made tons of recipes from it and they’ve all turned out so well. I’m not being paid to endorse them, although I’ve recommended this book to so many people I feel like I should be. . . . → Read More: What’s for dinner – The Better Butter Chicken

I had some ricotta left over from the panzarottis we had for dinner the other night, as well as some blueberries from the pie I baked on the weekend, so I looked for a recipe to combine the two and found ricotta blueberry muffins. I baked them up this afternoon and they are so . . . → Read More: What’s for Breakfast – Blueberry Ricotta Muffins

Tonight we’re having a staple recipe in our house: panzarotti. Basically, it’s a pocket of pizza dough filled with whatever you want. I use our bread maker to make the dough and it’s a fast, easy, always satisfying meal that makes enough for lunch the next day…until our daughter gets big enough to eat . . . → Read More: What’s for dinner – panzarotti

I found this recipe when I was pregnant and trying to stock our freezer with something not made with ground beef. It’s made the regular rotation because it’s fairly easy, if a bit messy, and it’s really easy to modify according to your tastes. You can find the original recipe here at Frugal Mom; I’m . . . → Read More: What’s for dinner tonight
