How using a Strider helped my 5 year old ride her bike without training wheels

Way back in 2011, I did a Strider PREbike review. Just look at how young Ashlyn was! She was about 2.5 when she started using her Strider and while she really enjoyed it, she was never one of those kids who zoomed around at top speed on them. Our Summer So Far

How is it August already? Before school ended in June, I was worried that we would be bored by August and I’d be out of ideas to entertain the three of us during the day, but that hasn’t been the case at all! If you haven’t watched it yet, I highly recommend it – but not if you have other things to get done because once you start, Read more […]

I’m so lucky to have a handy husband! We bought the Ikea SUNDVIK children’s table two years ago for Ashlyn’s birthday and while it’s still in great shape, it doesn’t seem as big now as it once did. I remember when we could get 6 toddlers to sit around it for snack time and now my own two daughters can barely share it when it comes time to do crafts. I thought about buying a second table and sitting them back to back, but this one table fits perfectly into the space that we have for it, and buying Read more […]
