9 months ago today

9 months ago today, my baby girl was born – 2 weeks late, no less. I can’t believe how fast it’s gone, and how big she’s gotten already! She was a wee 7 pounds when she was born, and now she’s over 20 (we’ll find out exactly how much she weighs at our doctor’s appointment in a couple of days). Me time?

I’ve been thinking about the concept of “me time” a lot lately. While it goes without saying that I adore my 6.5 month old daughter, being her primary caregiver 24/7 with no breaks is starting to wear on me a bit. Unfortunately, due to my husband’s career, we currently live in a province with no immediate family and no close friends to give us a break. What to say?

I’m still really new to this whole blogging thing, and I’m trying to figure out what my “voice” should be. I love reading other Mommy-blogs, and entering to win free stuff – because really, who doesn’t love free? – and eventually, I’d love to be able to do my own reviews and giveaways, but for that to happen, I need readers.
