Even though there are new studies that claim small amounts of alcohol are safe during pregnancy, I’m not comfortable taking that risk – mostly because I’m a lightweight and after 31 weeks of not drinking, I imagine my teeny bit of tolerance has totally disappeared. At 1.5 years old, Ashlyn didn’t have the anticipation of Christmas, but she sure enjoyed every minute of it! We had our first Christmas in 6 years where we could spend time with family and we had a wonderful holiday season. Next year will be even more fun, with a second baby and a child will really “get it”. I can’t wait! I’m officially in my third trimester now, hopefully 12 weeks or less until Sprout arrives (but since his/her sister was so late, I’m betting this one won’t arrive until closer to 14 weeks from now!).
