Canada Day aftermath

Tonight my 2 year old asked to go to the park.  It was a little later than we usually head out, but she’d had a good nap this afternoon and it was still light out, so at 8pm we walked down the street to our neighbourhood park. Pudding finger paint

Looking for an easy craft to do with your toddler when it’s too hot or rainy to go outside? Why not whip up a batch of pudding finger paint!  It’s so easy: make a box of pudding, then add some food colouring.  Let it set and let the fun begin! On the road again!

We’re heading out on a family vacation out East again, to visit with my husband’s family.  It’s going to be crazy with a 3 month old and a 2 year old, but I think I’m prepared.  We’re looking at about 8.5 hours of driving the first day, then about 5 the next day – not including stops to feed the baby, change the baby/toddler, eat meals, and just stretch.  Within reaching distance I’ll have tons of snacks (mostly for Ashlyn but some for us too) lots of books (so happy to have our Kindles) DVDs crayons Read more […]
