Happy Heinys Cloth Diapers ~ my personal review

The Diaper:Happy Heinys One Size. These diapers are a little different from the other one-size diapers that I have because they have 4 different size settings, instead of the more common 3 sizes. Ashlyn is just about nine months old here and around 20 pounds, and she’s on the highest set of snaps. What I like:the prints are adorable! Seriously, I bought these purely because of the “Silly Monkey” pattern. The side tabs are way longer than any other diaper I’ve tried, and they are made to overlap, Read more […]

Blueberry/Swaddlebees Cloth Diapers ~ my personal review

The Diaper:Blueberry/Swaddlebees One-Size Pocket Diapers. I know that Blueberry and Swaddlebees are technically two different brands made by the same company, but I ordered most of my diapers through the Blueberry website when they were having a sale and while I know I ordered both brands, all of my diapers say Blueberry. I believe this is a Swaddlebees, taken last August when she was 14 weeks old (probably 13-ish pounds). What I like: the hemp/microfiber inserts are some of the best I’ve ever used! Read more […]

LooRoos Cloth Diapers ~ my personal review

The Diaper:LooRoos All-In-One in size Medium (12-22 pounds). I actually won these from Natural Mommie right around this time last year – I asked (and was allowed) to postpone picking my colours until Ashlyn was born because I wanted to know if I could order any pink diapers or not. An all-in-one is the easiest type of cloth diaper to use; you just put it on like you would a disposable. Nothing to stuff, no extra covers. For some reason, I hardly have any pictures of my daughter in her LooRoos even Read more […]

Bum Genius 3.0 Cloth Diapers ~ my personal review

The Diaper:Bum Genius 3.0. This is the only cloth diaper that I own that has Velcro instead of snaps. It comes with a standard insert and a newborn insert that can be used alone when you have the diaper on the smallest setting, or as a doubler (ie extra stuffing/absorbancy) if you have a heavy wetter or for overnights. My little girl at 3.5 months old and about 13 pounds modelling her BumGenius. What I like:the microfiber inserts are great, I’ve never had to double it upthe Velcro does make it easy Read more […]

AMP Cloth Diapers ~ my personal review

The Diaper:AMP One Sized Duo. The “duo” means that you can put the liner inside the pocket, or lie it on top. If you lie it on top, then you can just switch out the liners and reuse the cover until it gets dirty. I’ve only used it with the liners inside the pocket. Below is my cutie modelling it when she was around 7 months old (so, 18ish pounds). What I like:great microfiber liner – it’s never leaked and it’s quite absorbantthe pocket opening is in the front of the diaper which is good for poopy Read more […]
