Believe me when I say that the hair struggle is real in this house. I’m a big fan of sending the girls to school with their hair tied back, but there are always little bits that don’t want to cooperate, and between clips sliding around and headbands pinching behind ears, the end of day hair is usually a wreck. I came across Eaby Chic thanks to my friend Amy in 613 and was so happy when Jennifer sent me a variety of her sweet bows to try out!
For my daughters, we received a KARMA ELLA in Bright Moon (on the right below), a special spring release MINNIE in Fancy Flamingo (on the left below), and a MINNIE in Teal Indie Chevron. I love the KarmaBows in particular because for every KarmaBow that is purchased, one is donated to a girl at CHEO (Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, which is located here in Ottawa and is near and dear to our hearts ever since Rowan had to spend a few days admitted there as an infant), in the oncology department.
Both of my daughters love to wear their Eaby Chic bows! The soft, stretchy fabric stays on nicely and makes it easy for them to put on a headband by themselves, which is handy at school. The patterns are so sweet and they do a great job of keeping the hair out of their eyes and off of their faces!
I was also sent an ELLA TECH in Elephant Grey. I wear it ‘backwards’ when I run, with the knot at the bottom of my head, since I find it keeps the hair out of my eyes and stays on better that way. This headband is so soft and light, I hardly remember I’m wearing it. That’s saying a lot, because I have a large head for a woman so many times a headband either doesn’t fit or hurts after a few minutes of wear. That is never the case with my ELLA TECH!
Jennifer and her Eaby Chic bows and clothes will be at the Cheerfully Made Market in Almonte on Sunday, May 7th, and she’s doing a pop-up at Union Street Cafe on Saturday, May 27th, which will also have a dance class option for littles! You can follow Eaby Chic on Facebook , @eabychic on Twitter, and Eaby Chic on Instagram for more details as they arrive.
You can buy Eaby Chic from these local Ottawa retailers: Baby Enroute, Belly Laughs, Pure Yoga Downtown, Prana Shanti Yoga Centre. Until April 9th, save 20% on your order from Eaby Chic’s online store by using the code ‘babybrain20′ when you check out!
I was sent products from Eaby Chic to facilitate this post. All opinions are always my own!
