Look great and protect your eyes with Real Shades (with #giveaway)

“Sunglasses are a necessity, not an accessory”. Real Shades (who I have worked with in the past when they were called Real Kids Shades) knows how important it is for eyes to be protected from the damaging effects of UV radiation no matter what your age is. I am very fortunate that both of my daughters have embraced wearing sunglasses from a young age, but they are still young and can be hard on their belongings so we need sunglasses that offer actual protection from UV radiation (many do not!) and that can withstand being dropped, thrown in a pocket or backpack, and falling off during some monkey bar acrobatics. Real Shades checks all of those boxes!

Custom-sized by age with flex frames, P2 Lens Technology (lightweight, impact resistant polycarbonate lenses combined with glare-reduction polarization), and virtually shatterproof lenses, Real Kids has been the leader in setting new standards in sunglasses for children from newborn through age 10.

I let my daughters pick out their own sunglasses from Real Kids Shades, and they both picked the Breeze style in their respective sizes, with the P2 Polarized lenses. I love well the Breeze covers their eyes and fits their faces; there is no squinting because of too-small lenses or gaps. They’re also super cute!

Since Real Shades has launched their Young Adult section, I took a chance and asked for a pair of Shine sunglasses in tortoise for myself. If you follow me on Instagram then you’ve seen how often I wear them!

Such a gorgeous #spring day that feels like summer! ?how many people we saw out enjoying it! #springincanada #ottawa #zombiesrun #couchto5k #getoutside #getactive

I have a pair of more expensive sunglasses but to be honest, these Real Shades are the ones that I grab on a regular basis. They are perfect for running or being active outside: they are very light-weight, don’t fall off my nose or need constant adjustments, and at this price point ($25.95 USD), I don’t worry about them and know that I can easily replace them if I drop them in the river while kayaking or something equally random. Sunglasses may be necessary, but it’s certainly a bonus when they’re also such a fabulous accessory!

Photobucket One lucky reader will win 1 pair of Real Shades of their choice!
