BeadyMae is an Etsy store that sells handmade jewelry with a focus on special beads and pendants. It’s also run by a wonderful woman named Jules, who I met on an online bridal forum about a decade ago and who has become a close friend since then. It’s funny what can bring people together now, isn’t it? Back to the jewelry though. Jules has always been very creative and recently decided to take her hobby of creating jewelry to the Etsy market. Her prices are very reasonable and she has a nice variety of necklaces, earrings and bracelets available. I was sent a pair of her purple/gold combo earrings, which have quickly become a staple in my accessory wardrobe.
Every single time I wear these earrings, my oldest daughter tells me how much she loves them. I love how different they look over the course of the day, as depending on how the bead is facing they can show as more gold or purple (the beads are not anchored so they rotate as you move around). They make a statement when my hair is up, but they are actually quite subtle when my hair is down since the purple doesn’t stand out too much from my dark brown hair. These earrings are super light and they have a clasp so I never need to worry that they’ll fall out somehow.
