The answer to “Can I have a pet for Christmas?” is the Tekno Newborn

2015HGGLogoWhat is it about being asked for present suggestions that always compels kids to ask for a new pet? We have one (incredible) cat and no plans to get any other pets but my daughters are always asking for a fish, or another cat, or a dog. I’ve found a way for Santa to bring them what they want without actually committing to another living creature:Tekno NewbornTM Robotic Pets!

I was sent a Tekno NewbornTM Robotic Puppy and Tekno NewbornTM Robotic Kitty from RP Toys. These micro pet robots can sit, walk, lie down and even sing! Each pet requires 2 AAA batteries (not included) and will react to your voice, a hand clap or any noise, really. If you have more than one, they don’t play together but the noise that one makes will activate the other, which is almost the same thing. They’re teeny and cute and will be played with even when they are turned off.

As you can see, our cat was very intrigued by the little critters when I had them moving around. The Tekno NewbornTM Robotic Puppy and Tekno NewbornTM Robotic Kitty could very well be a fun toy for the whole family!

Good idea – too cute too! I would never get a pet for anyone for Christmas. Bad bad bad idea. Unless you as a family had already made the decision beforehand and it was a surprise for the kids on Christmas morning.

Love this idea as the kids keep asking for a cat even though my girl is allergic!
