PBS Kids releases “20 FURRY TALES”

20FurryTalesWith Thanksgiving and Christmas just around the corner, we’re gearing up for our second big travel season (summer being the first). PBS Kids has just released a new compilation called “20 FURRY TALES” that features over 4 hours of PBS favourites that will be a long-trip lifesaver!

I know that we can really get into a rut when it comes to kids programming. The girls will find a show or two that they really like, we’ll set the PVR and that’s the end of it. A compilation like this gives us guaranteed favourites (like Wild Kratts) while also giving us a chance to check out some new shows that we aren’t familiar with (like WordGirl). “20 FURRY TALES” features stories and clips from:

  • Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood (2)
  • Caillou (6)
  • WordWorld (2)
  • Super WHY! (1)
  • Peg + Cat (2)
  • Arthur (3)
  • WordGirl (2)
  • Reading Rainbow (1)
  • Wild Kratts (1)

As with all PBS Kids shows, I feel good letting my daughters watch because I know they will be entertained while they learn. I particularly enjoyed sharing “Reading Rainbow” with them because it’s a show that I grew up with and loved as a child. With over 4 hours of entertainment, “20 FURRY TALES” is a steal at the SRP of $6.99 and is available exclusively at Wal-Mart! You can find PBS Kids on Facebook and on Twitter at @PBSKids.
