Books for Star Wars and DC Super Friends fans

If you live with a little Star Wars and/or DC Super Friends fan, like I do, then you’re going to be pretty happy with this news! While on vacation in New Brunswick this summer, we stopped in at Comic Hunter in Moncton to look around and came across a Star Wars book written just for young readers. I’m sure you’re familiar with Little Golden Books – the childrens books with the golden spine? Well, they have released a Star Wars collection that summarizes all six of the currently released movies and Rowan could not leave without one, so we bought Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. She loved it and my husband thought that the book did a really good job of summarizing the movie in a child-friendly way. I did a little looking online and I found the whole set at Indigo for less than purchasing 3 of the books separately, so we had to buy it. To get free shipping, I needed something else to add to my order and that’s when I found the Little Golden Books DC Super Friends collection. Ever since we saw Marvel Universe Live!, the girls have been very interested in superheros so it seemed like a natural fit. As you can see above, both sets of books have been a big hit! They are pulled out daily and live in our living room for easy access. If you have a Star Wars or DC Super Friends fan in your house, I would highly recommend them!
