GoldieBlox Movie Maker

It always makes me happy when a toy that we love, that is also teaching my children something, is so successful that there are different versions available. Ashlyn was given GoldieBlox and the Spinning Machine last year and while it took her a little while to really figure out how to use it, it has been getting a lot of play over the last couple of months, so I can’t wait to surprise her with the new GoldieBlox and the Movie Machine! Goldie and her friends need to save the Bloxtown Read more […]

Lalaloopsy Color Me Dolls Inspire Creativity

I’m so glad that I have so many fun posts to blog about and I hope that you get some great ideas for the Read more […]

Happy Halloween

This is the first year that I’ve made my daughters’ Halloween costumes. While teaching myself how to crochet this summer, I came across a pattern for an R2D2 hat and it took no convincing at all to get my girls on board with a Star Wars theme! I also crocheted the belt for Princess Leia and her dress is made from an XL shirt I found on clearance at Joe Fresh; R2D2 is an XL Joe Fresh tank, also on clearance. I’m pretty proud of how the costumes turned out and I think my daughters love them too! Did Read more […]
