Can you believe that there is less than one month left in 2014? This year has just flown by and the plans for next year are already in full swing. I worked with Personal-planner.com earlier this year and I love my planner so much that I had to get another for 2015!
There are four sizes available and I really debated between the A5 (5.8″ x 8.1″), which I had for 2014, and the Square (5.8″ x 5.6″). Ultimately, I stuck with the size that I know and ordered the A5 because I like having the extra space on each day to jot down errands or grocery lists. As before, I was able to upload my own pictures for both the front and back covers, which I love! All of the pictures on the covers were taken by the amazing Elizabeth Fulton Photography.
For comparison purposes, I took the picture of the back cover with the plastic cover over it so that you could see the high quality of the pictures and paper that Personal Planner uses. The plastic is incredibly durable as well; I use my 2014 planner daily and it bounces between a few purses, my school bag, the counter, the island, the kitchen table…you get the idea. It still looks exactly the same as it did the day it arrived!
My favourite part of ordering from Personal Planner is how much you can customize the interior. A new standard feature is that there is a small coloured bar on the side of each page so that you can see where each month is at a glance. For the inlay, you have four options, plus the option to have the days fully lined, partially lined or blank. There are tons of choices for the modules at the bottom; I went with List of the Week (should be great for groceries or errands), To Do This Week (homework!), and then lines on the second page. The calendar and notes sections are standard.
There are also three sections at the end that you can tailor to your needs. I kept a section of lined papers and my address book but I realized a month or so ago, when I was starting to register my daughters for the winter sessions of their activities, that having an overview of the next year would be really helpful at the end of my planner so I can keep track of what’s coming up. I love the colours and that it remembers all of the important dates that I’ve entered.
