Nerd Block Jr is fun mail for kids (#giveaway)

NerdBlockJr

Nerd Block is a pretty cool idea: you subscribe and then every month, a mystery package full of ‘nerd gear’ arrives in your mailbox! While the original Nerd Block is geared towards adults, there are also Nerd Block Jr subscription boxes for boys and girls aged 6-11. We were sent both the boys and girls August mystery packages from Nerd Block Jr to check out and the girls could not wait to tear into them!

As is typical with kids, the toys are now strewn about our home and I didn’t get a good shot of the boxes unpacked, but I can tell you what a few of the biggest hits were. In the ‘boy’ box, Rowan opened a Spiderman flashlight and she got a Stormtrooper phone dangler which will be proudly displayed on her backpack when she goes to nursery school next month. Ashlyn was thrilled to find out that August was “Littlest Pet Shop month” at Nerd Block Jr for girls, and she got a Mega Blocks Barbie Build ‘n Play set that has received a lot of play and love. The Owl magazine that came in both boxes was a nice touch as well.

Both boxes had two phone danglers, which I thought was a little strange as I don’t think a lot of kids in the 6-11 range have their own phones, but I could be off on that and the girls thought they were fun so it wasn’t a big deal. They loved getting their own mail and you can tell from the outside of the box that something fun is inside. Nerd Block Jr sells for $13.99/month and would make a great birthday or Christmas gift!
