The backyard makeover is complete

As I mentioned in my backyard overhaul post, what started as just changing up the kids backyard toys has evolved into a complete backyard makeover! We finally chose and purchased our patio furniture so I think it’s safe to say that the backyard is done…except for the barbecue, but that will have to wait until next year. Here it is, in as close to a panoramic shot as I could manage!

In case you’re wondering where things are from:

  • the basketball net is Little Tikes and was a curbside find
  • the cedar house is Georgian Manor by Cedar Summit Premium Play Sets that we purchased from Costco
  • the climbing dome is by Lifetime and was purchased through Amazon
  • the large shade umbrella at the back was purchased when we bought the house 4 years ago and I can’t remember where we got it now, though it may have been Home Outfitters
  • the pink plastic kids chairs were purchased at Canadian Tire last summer
  • the patio set was purchased from Sears Canada (it came with a small table that is not currently being used)
  • the patio coffee table that is being used was purchased from Canadian Tire last summer
  • the patio umbrella was purchased at Home Outfitters with a coupon provided by their #athomeinsider program (and it was on sale at the time so I got a double discount – this must be how coupon stackers in the States feel when they score a great deal!)
  • the kids picnic table is also Little Tikes and has been a backyard staple for 4 years now

We’ve been spending as much time outside as possible and I love having a safe area for the girls to play when I’m inside getting a meal ready. The investment will certainly be worth it for us!
