When I find a company that I really enjoy, I hope to work with them again and again. Last year I was introduced to Real Kids Shades and when they contacted me to say that they had new styles for 2014, I was happy to feature them!
My daughters were sent 3 pairs of sunglasses from Real Kids Shades that feature their Flex Fit and P2 Lens Technology (high performance optical clarity and glare reduction that helps cut down on eyestrain and fatigue).
The top pair is called Surf and we received it in
both the Toddler 2+ and Kid 4+ sizes in pink. The bottom pair is Breeze and we have it in the Kid 4+ in purple/navy.
Real Kids Shades describes Surf as being “based on the classic Wayfarer styling, we’ve pumped up the style with bright neon colors. Don’t let the high fashion look fool you – these sunglasses provide serious 100% UVA and UVB protection.” The frames are wider than other sunglasses that we have so while Ashlyn loves the colour, they don’t stay on her head very well; in fact, I can actually wear them! Rowan loves her pair and they are so cute with the reflective lenses. In fact, she loves them so much that she had to wear them as soon as we got them, even though we were inside watching Charlie and Lola!
Here’s what Real Kids Shades has to say about Breeze. “Breeze has a stylish squared off frame and comes in a variety of fun color combinations. A wrapped style provides protection from peripheral light. Breeze is also available with P2 technology, providing both polarized and polycarbonate lenses.” These are Ashlyn’s clear favourite and I can see why: they’re light, fit comfortably on her head and give her lots of eye protection while looking ever so stylish!
As the weather continues to inch towards spring, I know we’ll be spending as much time as we can outside and I’m glad to know that my girls will not only be looking cute, but keeping their eyes protected thanks to Real Kids Shades!
One lucky reader will win a pair of Real Kids Shades of their choice!
