It seems to be a less common practice every year, but I always send out Christmas cards and I look forward to the holiday season because I know that at least some of our friends and family will also be sending cards. Any card is appreciated, but I particularly look forward to the homemade or photo cards to see how each family is changing and growing as the years go by. This year I was given the opportunity to create double sided 5×7 holiday greeting cards from MailPix, which are the best of all worlds: perfectly customized cards that let me include a little ‘year in review’ on the back.
I cheated a bit and created a collage to put on the front of my MailPix card, since it’s supposed to just be a single picture and I couldn’t choose just one (the pictures of my daughters were taken by the amazing Elizabeth Fulton Photography). I put a text box over it here for a teeny bit of privacy, but rest assured that the back of my holiday card has a lovely few paragraphs summing up our year in a cheery and easy to read red font. If you’d prefer not to write anything on the back, most cards have an option to add another picture instead!
My MailPix cards are printed on 130lb card stock which gives them a sturdy construction. They also come with envelopes to make sending your cards a little bit easier. I was really impressed with how easy they were to create and how quickly they arrived at my door. The 5×7 size makes them easy to display and save once Christmas is over.
