It’s always exciting when Disney releases a new movie, especially when it’s in Disney Digital 3D! We’ve seen the promo for Frozen on television and our copy of The Little Mermaid and both of my daughters have been asking when they can go and see it. The answer: Frozen journeys to theatres in Disney Digital 3D on November 27, 2013. So what is Frozen all about?
In “Frozen,” Anna (voice of Kristen Bell), a fearless optimist, teams up with extreme mountain man Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff) and his sidekick reindeer Sven in an epic journey, encountering mystical trolls, an amazing and comedic snowman named Olaf, Everest-like conditions and magic at every turn in a race to find Anna’s sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), the Snow Queen, and save their kingdom from eternal winter.
In case you haven’t had the pleasure, here’s the trailer:
I enjoy Kristen Bell (have you seen her on Ellen talking about the sloth? You have to find it online if you haven’t seen it yet) and I loved Idina Menzel on Glee (she plays Shelby Corcoran) and in RENT (Maureen Johnson) so I’m sure that the songs are going to be fantastic. What I’m most excited about is the experience though; this will be Ashlyn’s third movie that she’s seen in the theatre and it will be Rowan’s first and I can’t wait to share this with them when we get to go to the advanced screening in Ottawa on November 9. If you’re in the Ottawa area be sure to enter below for a chance to win a family pass to the advanced screening and maybe we’ll see you there!
One lucky reader will win a Family Pass of 4 tickets to see the advanced screening of “Frozen” in Ottawa on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 10:00am at Cineplex Barrhaven!
