I’m probably a little biased, but I think my girls have some seriously stunning eyes. Thankfully I don’t have to do much encouraging to get Ashlyn to wear sunglasses to keep them protected from damaging UV rays; we joke that she’s our little vampire because she uses any excuse to wear sunglasses! The problem for us is finding cute shades that actually protect her eyes. Did you know that most of the children’s sunglasses that you see in stores are actually toys and don’t offer UV protection? We were sent a pair of Real Kids Shades Flex Duo in Purple/Pink to try out and we’re very impressed in the difference a pair of Real Kids Shades makes!
What makes Real Kids Shades necessary gear for outdoor play?
- 100% UV protection (UVA & UVB) to 400 nanometers clearly indicated on each individual package
- Flexible unbreakable rubber frames
- Professional grade polycarbonate lenses
- Shatterproof and Impact Resistant
- Wrap style design for a close, comfortable fit that minimizes peripheral light
- Removable neoprene® strap
- Waterproof Rustproof
- Fun to wear!
As you can see, the Flex Duo fit my 4 year old perfectly. They are super light and stay on her face comfortably whether she’s running and playing or sitting in the van. The rubber frames are genius since you know that shades are going to get dropped and pulled on, so having them as flexible as possible is key. You can tell that these sunglasses were designed specifically for children and aren’t just shrunken down adult shades. Real Kids Shades also come in a variety of sizes and styles that have bands that go all the way around your child’s head so that the shades stay put through any activity!
One lucky reader will win your choice of any pair of Real Kids Shades!
