I officially have a two year old now, and that means lots of “I do it!” in our house. Rowan thinks she’s a big kid and wants to do what the big kids do. Since her big sister has a few backpacks for nursery school and trips she’s been wanting one of her own so she can carry her books, toys and anything else that catches her eye. When a pirate backpack from Kidorable arrived for her to review she was thrilled!
The pirate backpack looks like a treasure chest so it will get lots of use as a backpack and a prop for imaginative play. I like that it unzips all the way around the front so it holds larger toys and books and is easy for Rowan to open and pack by herself. It also has 2 side pockets and a front pocket to hold smaller items or a drink. The straps are easy to adjust to make the backpack fit just right.
Kidorable backpacks are made of an easy-to-wash PVC exterior and a nylon interior which means you can hand wash any messes and hang your backpack to dry; that’s very important to me because you just know that at some point, there’s going to be a mess in your child’s backpack and you want to know that you can clean it without ruining it!
From March 10th through March 23rd, you can purchase Kidorable backpacks for 20% off by using code BACKPACK88 at checkout on Kidorable. This is a great idea for Easter or upcoming trips – any time I can get my kids to help haul their snacks/drinks/entertainment, I try to!
