PlasmaCar: fun for the whole family (giveaway)
My girls would live outside in the summer if I’d let them. A constant refrain in our household is “let’s go outside and burn some energy” and while we have a few toys to push around or ride on outside, most of them a sources of frustration rather than fun. I was so happy to add a PlasmaCar to our collection to bring the fun back to our backyard!
My 3 year old has been eyeing the PlasmaCars at Chapters for at least a year now, so she was beyond excited when a purple PlasmaCar arrived! The PlasmaCar comes in 7 pieces and it took my husband less than 10 minutes to put it together. When assembled, it is safe for people up to 120 lbs on uneven surfaces or 220 lbs on smooth surfaces; I haven’t tried it out myself yet but that’s more to do with the fact that we’ve had more rain in the past week than we have all summer than anything.
A got the hang of the PlasmaCar in no time; just wiggle the wheel and away you go!
This is the first toy that is asked for when we go outside and I can guarantee that we’ll be needing a second for our youngest next summer. PlasmaCar is for children 3+ so R is still too young to ride it, but she sure does like to ‘help’ her big sister by pushing the back when A is carefully and slowly pushing the PlasmaCar with her feet. R also likes to push the empty PlasmaCar around our backyard, because it doesn’t get stuck as easily as some of the toys that we have for her to push around.
My favourite feature of the PlasmaCar is the high weight limit; unlike many of the toys that we have for our girls, this one won’t be outgrown any time soon! There are quite a few PlasmaCars in our neighbourhood and I’ve seen kids that are at least 10 years old playing on them regularly. You can find PlasmaCar on Facebook and follow @PlaSmart on Twitter.
