We’re big Disney fans, and I’m always keeping my eye out to see what is being released from the vault. The latest releases include special editions of “Pocahontas” & “Pocahontas II” and “The Aristocats”, and a 35th anniversary release of “The Rescuers” & “The Rescuers Down Under”.
Movie synopsis: “In the heart of Paris, a kind and eccentric millionairess wills her entire estate to Duchess, her high-society cat, and her three kittens. When her greedy, bumbling butler attempts the ultimate catnap caper, the rough-and-tumble alley cat Thomas O’Malley and his band of swingin’ jazz cats must save the day. It’s the purr-fect blend of comedy and adventure.”
We’ve been watching “The Aristocats” for couple of weeks now and my 3 year old loves it. I love the change of pace from princesses and fairies, and the jazz music is so fun to listen too! The hand-drawn animation is incredible and the BluRay really shows it off purr-fectly (I couldn’t resist). There are also some fun extras like a virtual kitten and a ‘fun with language’ game that teaches kids the names and sounds of different musical instruments.
