Pregnancy and a cold

They don’t mix very well. My husband had a cold last week and he’s so lovingly shared his germs with me, except that I can’t/won’t take anything for mine as I’m 32 weeks pregnant and I prefer to be safe – and apparently miserable – rather than sorry. I’ve been looking online to see if there are any helpful suggestions but there is so much contradictory information floating around! So far, I’ve been: sleeping on a slight incline (since I can’t sleep on my back for long periods and my neck hurts Read more […]

Kideo – review & giveaway

Wordless Wednesday – The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

I got the first two books of the Millenium Trilogy for Christmas (since the Virgo in me prefers my books to match, and the last one isn’t out in paperback yet) and I cannot put it down.  I’m about halfway through and let me tell you, my Christmas tree is in no danger of being taken down until I’m done! It was scary enough when it was happening in the United States, but now it’s happened in Quebec, which is but one province away from me.  If birds start falling from the sky in Ottawa, I will never leave Read more […]
