I’m still here

We just got back from the cottage and I finally have a chance to get a quick post in.  It was a lot of fun to spend time with my extended family but I’m still amazed at how it can honestly take anywhere from 6-10 grown adults to keep an eye on one stationary baby and one incredibly active active toddler!  A “vacation” sure is different when kids are involved. Since my husband’s parental leave came to an end sooner than anticipated due to a fabulous opportunity with his employer, I decided to pack up the girls earlier this week and spend a few days beside the pool with the grandparents.  While we were there, my mom found the picture of me as a baby that is on the left – my girls get most of their looks from their Daddy but I think Rowan definitely has Mommy’s genes too!
