Easy Canvas Prints

It’s funny how you can live in a house for a while and suddenly decide that something is all wrong and needs to be fixed right now!  For me, it’s the stairway from the main level to the upstairs.  We have a large painting on one wall (that we literally bought off the wall of a bar back when we were dating in university) but the other wall is completely blank and it’s really bothering me.  I wanted to do a photo wall but didn’t know where to start.

I love the look of canvas prints and thought that would be a great focal point for a photo wall.  Easy Canvas Prints made it simple to order my favourite family picture taken by Elizabeth Fulton Photography on an 18 x 12 inch canvas.  All I had to do was select the canvas size and thickness (I chose the gallery wrap), and upload the picture.  After seeing that the resolution was “good”, the fun part started.

You can zoom in on the picture and choose from a variety of wrap options for the sides; I went with white because I plan to use white frames for the picture frames but I love that you can mirror the image or continue the image on the sides.  You can even have them convert your picture to black and white or sepia!

Shipping was very fast and the quality is excellent.  Now I just need to get the other pictures printed and I can check one more decorating “to do” off my list!
