I’m still here

We just got back from the cottage and I finally have a chance to get a quick post in. It was a lot of fun to spend time with my extended family but I’m still amazed at how it can honestly take anywhere from 6-10 grown adults to keep an eye on one stationary baby and one incredibly active active toddler! A “vacation” sure is different when kids are involved.
Everyone survived the 6+ hour drive to get there (and then home), the tantrums, the baby crying and waking at night and I even managed to get a teeny bit of a break when both girls actually napped at the same time one afternoon. Now if only my bags would unpack themselves….

Spending time to have a vacation on a nice place with the family is always a good idea. Even if it will take a couple of hours for you to get there, it doesn’t matter because in the end it will be worth it. Each and everyone having a good time together, it will certainly be an enjoyable experience.
