We’re heading out on a family vacation out East again, to visit with my husband’s family. It’s going to be crazy with a 3 month old and a 2 year old, but I think I’m prepared. We’re looking at about 8.5 hours of driving the first day, then about 5 the next day – not including stops to feed the baby, change the baby/toddler, eat meals, and just stretch. Within reaching distance I’ll have
- tons of snacks (mostly for Ashlyn but some for us too)
- lots of books (so happy to have our Kindles)
- DVDs
- crayons and colouring books
- stickers
- toys
And then there is all of the gear (playpen, bouncy chair, booster seat, stroller), the suitcases…how on earth did people travel before minivans?
