The Butterfly’s Daughter – giveaway

In the manner of the Aztec myth of the goddess who brings light to the world, Luz attracts a collection of lost women, each seeking change in their lives. The Mexican people believe the monarchs are the spirits of the recently departed and Luz taps into ancient rituals and myths as she follows the spectacular, glittering river of orange monarchs in the sky to home.

Once again novelist Mary Alice Monroe delivers a powerful and compelling novel of self discovery that parallels an awe inspiring event in nature.

Above is the summary of Mary Alice Monroe’s latest novel, The Butterfly’s Daughter.  After reading this excerpt, I can’t wait to dive into the book!  I love stories that involve family secrets, road trips and a bit of new information and this has all of those things and more.  I think The Butterfly’s Daughter would be an excellent read for the cottage this summer (or a chair in my backyard with my feet in the kiddie pool) and I have a feeling it’s the kind of book that will get passed to my mom, a few aunts, and a cousin or two before I get it back.
