Second Peek Maternity Boutique – review & giveaway

Buying maternity clothes can be so frustrating. On the one hand, you want to look and feel good and have some variety in your wardrobe. On the other hand, maternity clothes can be so expensive and really, at best, you’re likely only getting 6 months of use out of them. Lots of women like to try and find used maternity clothing but depending on where you live, your options might be limited. Second Peek Maternity Boutique is an online store selling gently used maternity wear that ships all over Canada and the USA!

I have found navigating Second Peek’s website very easy; all of the clothes are nicely separated by style (tops, bottoms, dresses, even lounge and business wear) and then each style has subsections (such as blouses and tops, tanks and tees, or turtlenecks under tops) so you won’t waste time wading through pages of clothing you have no interest in. Because these are pre-loved pieces, the size you see is all that’s available, so I love that there is an option to shop by size! And if you have your hopes set on a particular brand, you can also browse by brand to see what’s available.

In addition to all of the pre-loved clothing, Second Peek has expanded to include a variety of accessories for moms! For review, I received a Goober Baby Change Purse in Deep Water. This is a cute way to keep diapers and wipes handy and contained in your diaper bag or purse, or carry it on it’s own. It would also be great to keep in the car for those emergency diaper changes when you didn’t bring the diaper bag because you were “only leaving the house for 5 minutes” so what could possibly happen?

I have mine stuffed with a package of gWipes, 1 size 4 diaper for my toddler (I like to keep a disposable on hand just in case I forget to pack a cloth diaper) and 3 newborn diapers for our new baby. It’s very full but I like to be prepared! Having everything in one pretty bag inside the diaper bag means I can find what I need, when I need it. Also, since we don’t use disposables all that often during the day, it keeps them in good shape for when we need them instead of having them battered around the bottom of my diaper bag for weeks.
