Mixbook – Baby Shower Event review & giveaway

With Sprout due in a couple of weeks, baby announcements have been on my mind.  I love getting them in the mail from friends and family, and we sent them with our daughter, so I know we’ll be sending them out this time.  I’m picky though – I don’t want to use the same template as anyone else if I can help it (and I can think of 3 friends and family members that will likely be sending their own announcements in the next couple of weeks!), but I don’t want to spend a fortune on them either.

Enter Mixbook!  While I have to wait until Sprout arrives to actually order the cards, I’ve been playing with a few layouts and I love that I can add or delete pictures, add text boxes to include all of the information that we want, and you can even change the colours of some things if you want.  Our birth announcements will be totally unique and I’m excited to see them (once we know if we’re picking pink or blue).

I worked with Mixbook on a calendar  in December, and the quality was exceptional.  I really enjoyed being able to pull pictures from places I already had them uploaded (like Facebook and Photobucket) as it saved me a lot of time.  Everything is totally customizable; you can change layouts, add stickers, change fonts…the possibilities are endless!
