Nursing in public (and in general!) can be enough of a challenge without having to fight with your clothing! Momzelle is a Canadian company that was started by Christine and her brother Vincent shortly after the birth of Christine’s daughter when she designed a shirt that helped her to nurse discretely while still looking stylish and pretty.
For review, I chose their Criss-cross tank in white. I originally ordered a medium but when it arrived, I realized that it was going to be way too big. I was debating between two sizes and since the shirts are cut roomy to flatter a woman’s post-partum shape, I should have chosen the smaller size. Luckily, Momzelle has an excellent return/exchange policy and it was no trouble at all to order a size small and send my medium back.
Since I’m 8 months pregnant right now, the shirt isn’t looking nearly as cute on me as it does on the model above, but I can tell it’s going to be in heavy rotation once Sprout arrives. The openings work like this, so you’re always covered but baby has ample room to latch and eat:
It’s also nice and long, which is always a good thing to me! One thing I really don’t want to have to worry about is showing my stomach to the world by accident when trying to nurse my baby.
Momzelle has free shipping for Canadian orders over $79 and they are currently having an end of season sale, so now is a great time to stock up!
