When you have a new baby in the house, something as simple as a shower can become a daunting task. That doesn’t mean that you don’t want to look nice when you leave the house, even if you don’t have time to wash, dry and style your hair. That’s where Batiste Dry Shampoo comes in!
For review, I was sent Batiste Dry Shampoo in the Original and Blush scents. I’ve never used dry shampoo before so I wasn’t really sure what to expect or how it would work. All you have to do is shake the can, spray your hairline, rub it in with your fingers and brush it out – the whole process takes a minute or two maximum! I have dark, curly hair so I did need to brush it out as it left a teeny bit of white in my hair but if you have light hair you probably wouldn’t notice it.
I think that I prefer the scent of the Original to the Blush, which I found a little heavily perfumed for my liking, but I didn’t notice that either scent lingered for long so it really didn’t bother me at all. Because I have curly hair, needing to brush it out is a con because brushing my hair means killing the curl; that being said, when I have second day hair I’m pulling it back into a ponytail anyways so this doesn’t really change things. I did like that it absorbed the oil around my hairline and it made my hair look fresher than it really was! This is definitely going to come in handy during the chaos that surrounds adding a new person to the family.
