Kidorable is a company with a great mission: to create children’s apparel and accessories that are both functional and fun. Every year or so they launch a new style or product line to the delight of their fans (both children and adults) and in 2011 it’s the Ballerina Collection!
For review, I was sent a pair of ballerina rain boots. If you are a regular reader, you’ll know that my daughter has quite the shoe fetish, so it came as no surprise to me that she loved these boots at first sight! I barely had them out of the box and she was putting them on. Sure, they’re on the wrong feet, but that didn’t slow her down!
Once I managed to get a look at them myself, I could see why she loved them so much. First, they’re adorable! The faux-ribbon detail is a sweet touch, and there is a rose on the toe of each boot. I love that the detail continues all the way around the boots so they are just as cute coming as they are going!
They’re also easy enough for her to put on herself (no small feat at 1.5 years old!) but sturdy enough that she can walk easily in them. I’m not worried about any water getting in through the soles of these boots! The sizing seems bang on; we ordered a 6 which is big enough on Ashlyn that they should last us through the spring, which is what I expected.
