Glow Baby is a proudly Canadian company started by a mom who couldn’t find what she was looking for. When Lindsay’s second daughter was born, she needed a simple way to track the baby’s feeding/diapering/sleeping patterns while still caring for her older daughter. “Baby’s First Journal” was born and the rest is history!
For review, I chose something a little different. While I love the “Baby’s First Journal”, I knew from my first baby that I’m just not good at writing that stuff down. Making a list is much more my style and Glow Baby has lots of fridge-friendly lists available! I have the Medicine pad and the Shopping list on my fridge right now.
How many times have you gone to the store, bought your groceries, come home and realized that you have forgotten something important for dinner that night? My favourite part of the shopping list is that it has a section at the top for you to write down your recipes for the week, then room underneath to list all of the groceries you need to pick up. I keep intending to start a meal plan and this is a just the kick I need to do it. Planning ahead saves time, money and energy – three things moms and dads can all use more of!
The medicine pad is a great way to keep track of when your sick little one needs their medicine and if you’ve given it to them. I’m sure I’m not the only mom that has had to really stop and think whether or not I had remembered to give that mid-day (or early morning, or bedtime) dose of antibiotics. It would also be great for the babysitter or grandparents so that everyone is on the same page and no one forgets – or gives a double dose by accident!
