Wordless Wednesday ~ Canadian Museum of Nature
By Stacey, on July 13th, 2010
We went to the Canadian Museum of Nature this week to check out the whale skeleton (and the rest of the exhibits). It’s been a long time since my husband or I had been to this museum and we had a great time looking around, but not nearly as much fun as our daughter did! She particularly loved the turtles and fish.

Cool..Where is that? Alberta has the Tyrell Dinosaur Museum, but I have not seen this!
Shane
Shane, it’s in Ottawa. We never made it to Drumheller when we lived in Alberta so we’re definitely planning a trip back in a couple of years because we heard it’s a lot of fun!
Fun place to visit!! I should take the kids to the natural museum soon.

The older she gets the more fun it will be to go on adventures like this! Did you check out Drumheller when you were in Alberta?
No, we never got there, but it’s on the list in a couple of years!
Looks like a ton of fun!
That looks like a great museum. It reminded me of Drumheller at first too.
That looks like a cool museum to visit. I wish we had a nature museum near here.

Is it like a children’s museum?
It is
It’s got lots of interactive exhibits and there’s a whole floor of bugs (which we didn’t do this time) that kids love!
Some of those dinosaur exhibits look scary.
Looks like you had a lot of fun

Oh looks like so much fun. I love going to museums. Looks like they had some really fun/exciting exhibits.
It’s an amazing museum (located in Ottawa, close to the Rideau Canal and not too far from the Parliament Buildings). Fresh and modern inside after a 6-year renovation with all the beautiful heritage elements preserved.
Reminds me of a dinosaur museum we have here. It looks like your daughter is definitely taking it all in!
How fun! I love going to museums where they are interactive, lots of fun to be had!
