Silly Billyz ~ Review & Giveaway

I cannot tell you how many bibs we own. From the ones that come with outfits, to ones I’ve bought at the grocery store, to ones from a certain large box store best known for affordable furniture, to fancy ones given as a gift, we’ve got a stack. And yet none of them did what I needed them to do – keep my messy little girl clean!

My daughter refuses to be fed, for the most part. If she’s not in control of the spoon, it’s not going anywhere near her mouth. This had lead to a few ruined outfits because the bib I was using let her blueberry yogurt through, or because it didn’t absorb the juice from her orange (aside: did you have any idea that oranges could stain? I didn’t until Ashlyn started eating them!). If it wasn’t food, then it was water from the sippy cup she was playing with instead of drinking from, soaking her shirt. I was frustrated with the laundry and the fact that I had to wait until after her nap and lunch to dress her every day, just to avoid having to change her outfit after lunch. Thankfully, I found Silly Billyz!

I recieved a Messy Eater bib to review and it has been a life (and clothes) saver! I chose this bib specifically because it can be worn super-long, covering her entire lap, or snapped up with a -large pocket to catch any “misses” from her meals. Most other bibs I own have the plastic on the front and are backed with material. Silly Billyz bibs have a fleecy front, with a nylon backing, so they absorb any spills while protecting your child’s outfit. Honestly, this is the only bib we own that I actually trust to keep my daughter looking presentable after a meal! Try as she might, she hasn’t been able to soak through her Silly Billyz. This is a recent breakfast – before, during, and the clean jammies after!

Aside from keeping my baby clean, I also really appreciate that all of Silly Billyz bibs come with 2 neck snaps so that you can get a good fit for your child and make sure it stays on for the whole meal. I’m sure my daughter isn’t the only toddler out there who has figured out how to pull off a Velcro bib! They are also pvc free, lead free, stain resistant, machine washable and dryable so you know that this bib isn’t going to get ruined the first time it meets some raspberries!
