The Diaper:
Blueberry/Swaddlebees One-Size Pocket Diapers. I know that Blueberry and Swaddlebees are technically two different brands made by the same company, but I ordered most of my diapers through the Blueberry website when they were having a sale and while I know I ordered both brands, all of my diapers say Blueberry. I believe this is a Swaddlebees, taken last August when she was 14 weeks old (probably 13-ish pounds).
What I like:
- the hemp/microfiber inserts are some of the best I’ve ever used! Very absorbant!
- great fit around the waist and legs
- they have minky diapers (the brown with blue spots) which are still waterproo
f, but are soft and fuzzy. I just like the feel of them. - The patterns are really fun!
Not a fan:
- one of the diapers is terrycloth (bottom right, citrus colours) and it took a really long time to get to it’s full absorbancy. She’d leak out if it for weeks until it had been washed way more than the 5-10 times you’re instructed to wash new diapers to get the absorbancy up to par. Now it’s just fine but that was very frustrating.
- Can be bulky, especially on the smaller sizes.
- They are on the more expensive end of the cloth diapers I’ve purchased (but if you sign up for their newsletter, they’ll email you when they have a sale – the shipping cost is terrible to Canada but the savings made it worthwhile for me to buy from them).
Overall Opinion:
I love my Blueberry/Swaddlebees. They’re not the trimmest diaper going, but that’s much less of a problem now that we’re on the longest setting. I would highly recommend these!
